Beckinsale made her television debut in 1991, playing a tiny role in an ITV production of P.D. James’ ‘Devices and Desires’. She also starred in the film ‘One Against the Wind’ that year. The following year, she appeared in a 30-minute Channel 4 short film titled ‘Rachel’s Dream.
