Table of Contents
Who Is Rohed Khan?
Rohed Khan is an Austrian actor and model of Afghan origin whose screen career has developed primarily in Indian cinema while also extending into European and international productions.
His professional actor profile lists 1995 as his birth year and Kabul, Afghanistan, as his birthplace, with Austrian nationality and residences in Linz and Mumbai. It also lists German, Persian/Farsi, Dari, English, and Hindi among his languages.
Rohed’s route into acting was preceded by modelling. His professional biography credits him with advertising campaigns for brands including Gillette, Doritos, Harley-Davidson, and Sony Camera, while other industry profiles also list Men of Platinum, Hero Hunk India, and Celio India.
His first widely documented Hindi-film role came in Tejas, where he played Sarqalam. He subsequently appeared in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Sarzameen, and Detective Sherdil. His international screen work includes Les Clochettes de Kaboul, in which he plays Milad alongside Golshifteh Farahani.
His career also includes a brief reality-television chapter. Rohed entered Bigg Boss 20 in September 2026, but was eliminated during the season’s first eviction.
Rohed Khan Age and Date of Birth
Rohed Khan’s birth year is listed as 1995 by his eTalenta and Filmmakers professional profiles. Filmmakers currently lists him as 31 years old.
There is, however, a significant discrepancy in celebrity databases. Filmibeat currently displays 30 November 1994 while also describing him elsewhere as born in 1995. StarsUnfolded likewise lists only the year 1995. Because the professional actor profile does not publish a complete day-and-month birth date, 30 November 1994 should not be treated as a verified fact.
Verified-age summary
Birth year: 1995 according to professional profiles
Current listed age: 31
Exact date of birth: Not reliably verified
Rohed Khan Height
Height information is another area where online sources disagree.
His eTalenta professional profile lists 188 cm, while the Austrian Actors/Filmmakers profile lists 190 cm. IMDb’s biography gives 6 ft 1 in (185 cm).
Because these figures come from different databases and there is no single official public measurement that resolves the difference, the safest description is:
Rohed Khan’s height is reported between 185 cm and 190 cm. His professional eTalenta profile lists 188 cm.
This article does not present one number as definitively confirmed.
Rohed Khan Early Life and Background
Rohed’s professional profile identifies Kabul, Afghanistan, as his birthplace and says he holds Austrian nationality. His listed residences include Linz in Upper Austria and Mumbai.
Public profile material describes his background as connecting Afghanistan and Austria. StarsUnfolded reports that he grew up in Linz after his family moved from Afghanistan, while the professional actor profile independently confirms the Afghanistan birthplace and Austrian nationality.
His multilingual background has become relevant to his professional career. His actor profile lists German and Persian/Dari as native languages and English and Hindi as fluent languages. That combination has allowed him to work in productions connected to Indian, European, and international cinema.
Detailed information about his childhood household, parents’ occupations, and other private family circumstances is not sufficiently documented by high-quality primary sources.
Rohed Khan Education and Acting Training
Rohed’s professional profile lists acting studies from 2019 to 2021 connected with the Film and Television Institute of India and Roshan Taneja’s acting training. It also lists an Act Brighton diploma.
StarsUnfolded describes his training more specifically as a six-month acting diploma from Roshan Taneja’s acting school followed by training at Act Brighton.
His preparation has also included physical disciplines. Professional profiles list karate, Thai boxing/kickboxing, and judo, while other biography material states that he holds a second-degree black belt in karate.
He is additionally listed as having experience in hip-hop and historical dance, playing guitar, and classical singing.
Rohed Khan Career Before Acting
Before becoming known for film roles, Rohed worked as a model.
His publicly documented campaign credits include brands such as Gillette, Doritos, Harley-Davidson, Sony Camera, Men of Platinum, Hero Hunk India, and Celio India. These advertising assignments helped establish his professional presence before his film career developed.
According to StarsUnfolded, Indian casting director Shanoo Sharma noticed him and he auditioned for Takht, Karan Johar’s planned historical drama. The project was subsequently shelved, meaning the role did not become part of his released filmography.
His next major opportunity came with Tejas.
Rohed Khan Bollywood Debut: Tejas
Rohed Khan made his Hindi-film debut in Sarvesh Mewara’s Tejas, released in 2023.
He played Sarqalam, a significant antagonist in the film, which stars Kangana Ranaut as an Indian Air Force pilot. Cast databases from TV Guide, IMDb, and Bollywood sources list Rohed as Sarqalam.
The role established Rohed in Hindi cinema and was closely associated with his action-oriented screen image. His martial-arts background and physical training also fit the type of demanding roles that subsequently appeared in his filmography.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan
Rohed followed Tejas with Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, released in 2024.
The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Rohed played a Head Militant, a supporting action role. His professional actor profile and film databases both identify the credit.
The film also produced one of the more unusual stories in Rohed’s early career.
Why Rohed Khan Left Squid Game
In a 2024 interview with The Free Press Journal, Rohed said that he had signed a contract connected with Squid Game but ultimately chose Bade Miyan Chote Miyan because the dates conflicted. India Today separately reported the same basic account, describing the decision as a scheduling clash.
This claim should be attributed to Rohed’s interview rather than presented as an independently documented casting history for Squid Game.
Sarzameen
In 2025, Rohed appeared in Kayoze Irani’s Sarzameen.
The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Rohed is credited as Aabil Bhatt. Bollywood Hungama and IMDb both list him in the cast, while the film’s listed release date was July 25, 2025.
The role added another supporting part to Rohed’s Hindi-film portfolio and continued his association with action and dramatic projects.
Detective Sherdil
Rohed also appeared in Detective Sherdil, playing Shane.
The cast was led by Diljit Dosanjh, with Rohed among the supporting performers. IMDb and Bollywood Hungama list his role as Shane.
His professional profile classifies the role as a cameo, providing a useful distinction from his larger supporting parts in other films.
Les Clochettes de Kaboul
One of Rohed Khan’s international projects is Les Clochettes de Kaboul, also known as When She Hears the Bells.
The film is directed by Chabname Zariab and features Golshifteh Farahani. Rohed plays Milad. IMDb lists him among the principal cast, while his professional actor profile describes the film as a 2025–2026 project in development.
This project is particularly relevant to Rohed’s international profile because it connects his Afghan background, multilingual abilities, and European filmmaking work.
Rohed Khan and Maria / Mariaa IPS
Rohed’s current professional film profile also lists Maria as an in-development project directed by Rohit Shetty, with Rohed credited as Jawed Chikna. IMDb currently lists the project as Mariaa IPS and names John Abraham, Resh Lamba, and Rohed Khan among the cast.
Because the project is not presented as a completed released film on these sources, it is more accurate to describe it as an upcoming or in-development project rather than a released Rohed Khan movie.
Rohed Khan Bigg Boss 20 Journey
Rohed Khan entered Bigg Boss 20 in September 2026, marking his move from cinema into Indian reality television. Contemporary coverage identified him as an Austria-based Afghan actor and model.
His time in the house lasted roughly two weeks.
Rohed was nominated alongside Aasif Khan and ScoutOP after a nomination-related discussion inside the house. On the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, his eviction was announced based on public voting, making him the first contestant evicted from Bigg Boss 20.
Indian Express reported his eviction on September 20, 2026, while other coverage reported it in the early hours of September 21.
After leaving the show, Rohed spoke to Mid-day about his experience and discussed his relationships with fellow contestants, including Aamrapali Dubey.
Rohed Khan’s Connection With Salman Khan
Rohed had reportedly met Salman Khan before entering Bigg Boss.
In September 2026 coverage, Rohed recalled meeting Salman during a shoot in Austria. He said he introduced himself and expressed his desire to work with Salman someday. Years later, he ended up appearing on a show hosted by Salman.
During his Bigg Boss 20 eviction, News9 reported that Salman gave Rohed a positive farewell and Rohed described sharing the stage with him as personally meaningful.
Rohed Khan Family and Siblings
Rohed has kept much of his private family life away from mainstream entertainment coverage.
His publicly documented family connection includes Idriz Sanie, an Afghan-born Austrian singer whom StarsUnfolded identifies as Rohed’s brother. A separate 2023 media report about Idriz Sanie’s music video AN/Kaash also identifies Rohed as Idriz’s brother and credits him with writing the music video’s story.
Apart from this publicly reported sibling connection, detailed information about Rohed’s parents and wider family is not sufficiently established through authoritative sources.
Rohed Khan Girlfriend and Relationship Status
Rohed Khan was linked by media speculation to actress Zareen Khan after the pair were photographed together in 2025.
However, Rohed directly addressed the speculation through an interview with The Free Press Journal and said that they were good friends who had met for dinner.
Therefore, the 2025 dating speculation should not be presented as a confirmed relationship.
As of the latest publicly available reporting reviewed for this article, there is no publicly confirmed current girlfriend or romantic partner for Rohed Khan.
Rohed Khan Net Worth
Rohed Khan’s exact net worth is not publicly available from a reliable financial source.
Several celebrity websites publish numerical estimates, but there is no sufficiently credible financial documentation establishing his personal wealth. Those numbers should therefore not be presented as confirmed.
His documented professional income categories include modelling and advertising campaigns, film work, television/reality appearances, and other entertainment activities. However, his contracts, salaries, property holdings, investments, taxes, and private earnings are not publicly documented in a way that permits a reliable net-worth calculation.
Rohed Khan’s exact net worth: Not publicly available.
Rohed Khan Agency and Representation
Rohed’s Austrian Actors profile lists J.G.’s consultancy services as his main agency/representation and identifies Georg Georgi as the contact.
The profile describes Rohed as an Austrian actor working internationally between Europe, the United Kingdom, and India.
This should be distinguished from a film production company or an exclusive Bollywood studio contract. I found no reliable evidence establishing a separate permanent Bollywood acting agency or entertainment-company contract.
Rohed Khan Filmography
| Year | Film / Project | Role | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | Tejas | Sarqalam | Released |
| 2024 | Bade Miyan Chote Miyan | Head Militant | Released |
| 2025 | Sarzameen | Aabil Bhatt | Released |
| 2025 | Detective Sherdil | Shane | Released |
| 2025–2026 | Les Clochettes de Kaboul | Milad | Listed in professional profile as in development |
| 2025–2026 | Maria / Mariaa IPS | Jawed Chikna | In development / production listing |
The professional filmography is supported by Filmmakers and eTalenta, while individual film databases corroborate the main released credits.
Rohed Khan’s Acting Style and Skills
Rohed’s professional profile places considerable emphasis on action and martial-arts performance. His listed skills include karate, Thai boxing/kickboxing, and judo, and he describes himself as an actor interested in drama, thrillers, action, and auteur-driven cinema.
His screen credits show a recurring association with action-oriented characters. Sarqalam in Tejas, the Head Militant in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Aabil Bhatt in Sarzameen all fit broadly within the physical or conflict-driven parts of those productions. This is an observation from his filmography rather than a claim about how he personally defines his acting style.
His multilingual ability is another distinctive professional skill. His acting profile lists German, Persian/Farsi, Dari, English, and Hindi, potentially allowing him to work across different production environments.
Music-Related Work
Rohed Khan does not have a verified solo discography comparable to a recording artist.
He does, however, have a documented connection with his brother Idriz Sanie’s music. A 2023 report on Idriz Sanie and Eva Manta’s AN/Kaash identifies Rohed as the person responsible for the music video’s story. StarsUnfolded similarly credits him with writing the story for the video.
Therefore, it would be misleading to categorize Rohed as a singer or K-Pop musician based on the available evidence.
Awards and Achievements
No major individual acting award or music award for Rohed Khan was reliably verified during this research.
| Year | Achievement | Work / Context | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | Hindi-film debut | Tejas | Credited as Sarqalam |
| 2024 | Major Hindi-film appearance | Bade Miyan Chote Miyan | Credited as Head Militant |

| 2025 | International film role | Les Clochettes de Kaboul | Credited as Milad |
| 2026 | Reality-TV debut | Bigg Boss 20 | First contestant evicted |
These are career milestones rather than competitive awards.
Tours and Concerts
Rohed Khan’s publicly documented career is primarily in film, advertising, and television.
No verified solo concert tour, world tour, or headline music tour was identified. His association with AN/Kaash is connected with its music video rather than evidence of a solo recording career.
Brand Endorsements and Modelling
Rohed’s modelling career remains an important part of his professional background.
| Brand | Type of Activity |
|---|---|
| Gillette | Advertising/model campaign |
| Doritos | Advertising/model campaign |
| Men of Platinum | Advertising/model campaign |
| Harley-Davidson Austria | Advertising/model campaign |
| Hero Hunk India | Advertising/model campaign |
| Celio India | Advertising/model campaign |
| Sony Camera | Advertising/model campaign |
These brand associations are documented in his professional and biographical profiles. They should not automatically be described as current ambassador appointments because the sources do not establish that all of them remain active partnerships.
